Call for faculty

Public Notice 

ISCTE Business School informs that is receiving applications for the academic year of 2018/19 within the framework of its annual faculty recruiting process of the six academic departments of the School:

 Accounting 

 Economics 

 Finance 

 Human Resources and Organizational Behaviour 

 Marketing, Operations and Management 

 Quantitative Methods for Management and Economics 


Candidates must comply with the following minimum requirements: 

 Hold a doctoral degree in the relevant scientific domain (or be a doctoral degree candidate near completion) 

 Master the English language (written and spoken) 

 For visiting professor applications, to hold a tenured faculty position in another higher education institution 

 Scientific and pedagogical publications and teaching experience will be a plus 

Work responsibilities 

 Teaching at undergraduate, master or doctoral level 

 Possible coordination of IBS curricular units, teams and other groups 

 Coordination and support of IBS events 

 Availability to supervise students in their work projects, thesis and dissertations 

 Participation in the development of educational materials and in accreditation processes 

 Active participation in the life of the School 

Submission of applications 

Applications shall be submitted to the e-mail until the 15th of February of 2018. Please enclose your curriculum vitae, a motivation letter, two letters of recommendation (at least one of which relative to academic experience) and academic qualification transcripts in pdf format. All applications will be analysed by the Scientific Committee of the School and selected candidates will be contacted within 60 days to follow the legal recruitment procedures according to the Statute of the University Teaching Career.
