On October 30, 2024, Esports Universe 2024 arrives at Iscte in Lisbon, offering a unique experience to all esports enthusiasts. This pioneering event in the Portuguese university context is organized by Iscte students and alumni and responds to the growing interest in esports as a professional career.

Esports Universe 2024 is a nonprofit conference aimed at raising awareness and introducing young people to esports as a career through content delivered by successful professionals. The event will feature interactive activations from partners like Prozis, Axe, the Portuguese Air Force, Omen by HP, and OG Esports, where participants can enjoy their favorite games and have a unique experience. During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to explore two main areas:

• Universe Stage: Here, lectures, interviews, and debates led by esports professionals will demystify their day-to-day work and share insights about the industry.

• Gaming Experience Zone: This area will include booths from various brands featuring computers, consoles, virtual reality equipment, and even a flight simulator. This interactive space will enhance the event's focus, offering an immersive experience for all participants.

The event will also host renowned speakers such as António Azevedo, Senior Partnerships Manager at OG Esports, and include discussion panels such as "The Sustainability of an Esports Organization" with António Graça (SPC Esports) and Telmo Silva (Grow UP) and "Working with Virtual Football" with Armando Vale (Luna Galaxy) and Raul Faria (FPF). The event will be hosted by Cindy Barardo, a seasoned communications professional with over two decades of experience, who has interviewed major figures in music, business, and government. The event will be held at the Grand Auditorium of Iscte, with tickets available for €3 (limited stock), rising to €5. All proceeds not reinvested in organizing the event will be donated to the charity Ajuda de Berço, helping make a difference in many children's lives.
