Nokia formalized an agreement with Iscte Business School (IBS) as Corporate Partner.
This agreement  includes initiatives that aim to promote academic-business cooperation between the two organizations, focusing on recruitment and career developement of IBS Students, as Nokia continues to grow the Global Business Services Center inaugurated last year in Amadora (Lisbon, Portugal). The partnership protocol for 2022/2023 also included the awarding of prizes to six UCs to teach in the academic year 2022/2023.

Nokia will sponsor branding and recruitment events, and initiatives organized by the school. With the aim to foster the development of young students, by offering a wide portfolio of professional opportunities, intended to best exploit the gathered academic knowledge at Iscte Business School.

Nokia's Global Business Services Center in Portugal, located in Alfragide, embraces a wide range of finance-related services, like order-to-cash, source-to-pay, data management, business processes, among others, essential for Nokia’s financial operations. The company continues to ramp up the center and is hiring for several positions.

In addition to the signing of the protocol, prizes were awarded to the best students who concluded as Curricular Units: Financial Auditing, Cost Management Systems and Business Finance (in the academic year 2021/2022).
