Prof. Maria de Fátima Salgueiro, Dean of Iscte Business School, is attending the 2026 EFMD Deans Conference, taking place in Vienna, Austria, on 3 and 4 February, bringing together leading academic decision-makers from business schools around the world. Accompanying the Dean are Prof. Sandra Costa, Vice Dean for Faculty & Research, and Prof. João Guerreiro, Vice Dean for International Affairs & Strategic Communications, strengthening the School’s institutional representation at this international forum.

The conference is organised by EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development), globally recognised for developing leading accreditation systems such as EQUIS and for fostering international networks between academic institutions and the business community.

Throughout the event, key topics will be addressed, including pedagogical innovation, sustainability, digital transformation and the impact of business schools on society. The participation of the Iscte Business School leadership team reinforces the institution’s commitment to academic excellence, internationalisation and the adoption of practices aligned with high international standards.
