Iscte Executive Education has once again stood out in the latest Financial Times Executive Education Rankings 2026, achieving highly significant international results in both the Open Enrolment Programs and Custom Programs categories.
In the Open Programs category, Iscte Executive Education climbed 16 places — the largest increase in this category worldwide — to reach 51st place globally.
In the Custom Programs category, which is dedicated to bespoke programmes for companies, the institution rose 13 places, representing the highest increase in Portugal and one of the most significant worldwide. Iscte Executive Education is currently ranked 31st worldwide in this category.
Considering its performance in both categories, Iscte Executive Education is now ranked 41st worldwide and 2nd in Portugal, behind NOVA SBE only. These results further consolidate the institution's position among the world's top 50 executive education providers.
José Crespo de Carvalho comments “these results confirm the international recognition of Iscte Executive Education's work and reflect a consistent strategy focused on close collaboration with companies, innovation in educational offerings and strengthening the institution's international presence. This is all the result of hard work, consistency and the involvement of a large team of staff, programme coordinators, faculty members, participants and partner companies.”
This international recognition comes just a few weeks after the Iscte Executive MBA was recognised in the QS ranking, achieving a place among the top 50 programmes in Europe and securing first position in Portugal.
These results strengthen Iscte’s international position in executive education, highlighting the potential of collaboration between Iscte Business School and Iscte Executive Education and opening new growth, innovation and global recognition opportunities for the future.
