On 14 September, the official start of the new academic year was celebrated with a session for new undergraduate students, offering them a warm welcome as they embark on their higher education journey.

The event began with a welcome address to all Iscte new students by Iscte's Rector, Prof. Helena Carreiras, followed by a dedicated Iscte Business School welcome session with the School's Dean, Prof. Maria de Fátima Salgueiro. Prof. Salgueiro, which highlighted the start of a new academic chapter, marked by new challenges, learning experiences, and opportunities. The Directors of the Bachelor's degree programmes at Iscte Business School and the School's Student Associations were also present, accompanying the new students during this first encounter with the academic and student community and providing them with an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the various structures that make up the Iscte Business School community.

The Undergraduate Programme Welcome Event was more than just a welcome session; it was an opportunity to familiarise students with the School and the people who will support them over the coming years.
