III Iscte Doctoral Colloquium in Accounting Research

The Iscte Business School, in partnership with the Graduate Program in Controllership and Accounting at the University of São Paulo (USP, Brazil), is pleased to announce the 3rd edition of the Iscte Doctoral Colloquium in Accounting Research, to be held on July 28–29, 2025, in a hybrid format.
This international colloquium aims to support PhD students in Accounting by providing a space for academic exchange, feedback, and networking, while helping participants improve the quality and impact of their research.
Over the course of two days, participants will have access to:
- Guided discussion sessions on doctoral research proposals
- Lectures by leading international scholars from institutions such as Duke University, LSE, Penn State, and others
- Individualized feedback from faculty members from Iscte and USP
The colloquium welcomes research proposals addressing the following topics:
- Financial Accounting and Capital Markets
- Managerial Accounting
- Public Sector Accounting
- Sustainability Reporting
Participation is free of charge, and the working language of the event is English.
