The 17th edition of the Career Forum of Iscte Business School was held on February 12th and 13th. This initiative connects national and multinational companies to students looking for career opportunities. In this edition, around 500 job vacancies were available.
The Career Forum started with the CEO Breakfast, a breakfast with the CEO’s of several companies, which featured the intervention of José Gomes, Secretary of State for Planning. In this event, CEOs were offered “Craftwallet” wallets, a brand developed by an Iscte Business School alumnus.
The first day of the Career Forum was dedicated to the areas of banking, consulting, auditing and finance, accounting and human resources and the second day to marketing, retail, services and technology. This year, 50 company presentations and 13 workshops were held, with the aim of preparing students for a successful career.
Maria João Cortinhal, dean of Iscte Business School, stresses the importance of the Career Forum as “a unique opportunity for teachers and students to create a closer connection with employers”.
