Iscte Business School is pleased to announce that 2 of our faculty members were included in this prestigious ranking of the most influential scientists in the world.

The list is a part of the article “Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators” published in the Public Library of Science Biology, and contains the names of the top 2% scientists from around the world whose publications are most often cited by other authors. It includes nearly 160,000 scientists from 21 scientific fields and 175 subfields and is available at https://data.mendeley.com/datasets/btchxktzyw/2.

Professor Sandra Loureiro is included in the Top 2% Scientists in Marketing and is the only Portuguese that belongs to the group of the top 100 scientists all over the world in the field of Economics & Business.    

Professor Fernando Ferreira was one of the 9 Portuguese scientists listed in the discipline of "Business & Management" and ranks 3rd in Portugal based on a composite score citations criterion.
