Congratulations to our Alumna Mariana Teixeira Cunha and our Alumnus Pedro Miguel Ramalho Tomé for having been distinguished in the 2021 Edition in the initiative of APFIPP - Portuguese Association of Investment Funds, Pensions and Heritage with Jornal de Negócios.
The two MSc in Finance Students, supervised by Professor António Freitas Miguel, won in ex-aequo the prize for the best “Academic Dissertation on Collective Investment Organisms, Wealth Management and/or Pension Funds / connections between Asset Management and Pension Funds with the Public Pension System", with the following theses:
- Mariana Teixeira da Cunha - " The Impact of Financial Systems on Bank-Affiliated Mutual Fund Fees and Flows ";
- Pedro Miguel Ramalho Tomé - " The Impact of Monetary Policy on the Mutual Fund Flow-Performance Relationship: International Evidence".
This is an annual prize awarded to the best bachelors, masters, postgraduate or doctoral thesis whose theme is relevant to the activity of ICOs, Wealth Management and/or Pension Funds, in addition to topics that analyze the connections between Asset Management and Pension Fund Management with the Public Pension System, and has a monetary value of 2000 euros.
