Congratulations to our Students Jeni Hassan Santi and Inês Teixeira da Cunha for the distinction and recognition!

In the fourth edition of a partnership between the Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation and Banco de Portugal, were presented the summaries of the 9 best Master's theses in Economics and the 6 best Master's theses in Management, defended and approved between 2020 and 2022. Our Masters in Management, Jena Santi and Inês Teixeira da Cunha saw their theses distinguished by being selected for the Book: The Best Economics and Management Theses 2022.

The distinguished theses deal with themes as diverse as:

> the minimum wage and wage distribution in Portugal

> the impact of the tax over soft drinks on producers

> the innovation and resilience of SMEs in the tourism sector during the pandemic

> the path of women towards leadership

With this publication, the Francisco Manuel dos Santos Foundation aims to promote the academic study of the national economy.
