Duarte Pereira, 25 years old, with a master's degree in Finance at ISCTE Business School, is one of the five young promises for future leaders in the 18th edition of the Primus Inter Pares Award.
The Primus Inter Pares Award is an initiative of Banco Santander in Portugal and Expresso Newspaper , whose goal is to contribute to the development of a culture of rigor, professionalism and excellence in business management, by providing privileged opportunities for further academic training. The initiative seeks to distinguish students with leadership potential from the areas of management, economics, finance and engineering, by offering an MBA (Master in Business Administration), completely free of charge, in Portugal or abroad.
The finalists are: António Teiga Vieira, 23, with a Master in Finance at Nova School of Business and Economics; Duarte Pereira, 25, with a Master in Finance at ISCTE Business School; João Abrantes, 23, (Iscte Business School Alumni) with a Master in Finance at Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics; Maria José Cardoso, 23 years old, with an MSc in Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Science and Technology, NOVA University and Maria do Rosário Rocha, 22 years old, with an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto.
