The Master in Finance of Iscte Business School integrates again the Financial Times ranking. "This international recognition is a reflection of the quality of our training offer in Finance, a pioneer in Portugal", says Maria João Cortinhal, Dean of Iscte Business School. "We offer former students the fastest career progression at a national level and the 10th in the world."
The Financial Times Masters in Finance 2023 Ranking, which evaluates the world's best Masters in Finance, distinguishes Iscte Business School (IBS) in the 45th position. This result once again places IBS among the four best Portuguese business schools, standing out for the fact that its former students are the ones who evolve the most within the companies they integrate.
"This international distinction reflects the quality of our training offer in Finance, a pioneer in Portugal, as it offers its former students the fastest career progression in Portugal and the 10th fastest in the world", says Maria João Cortinhal, Dean of Iscte Business School.
Maria João Cortinhal assumes that Iscte Business School intends to "continue to fulfill its mission of contributing to the development of knowledge and practices, preparing and developing responsible leaders with the ability to create a positive impact on organizations and society, in today's globalized world".
This Financial Times ranking assesses categories such as career progression, salary, professional situation three months after completing the master's degree and gender equality. Iscte Business School is the Portuguese school with the greatest gender balance in the teaching staff (48% female), with 40% of the Advisory Board being composed of women. It is also one of the institutions where more teachers hold a PhD (99%).
