With a dynamic program and purpose-driven speakers, the 2023 Edition of the PRME Global Forum brought a global debate on how business education can help advance the sustainable development agenda worldwide. The Principles for Responsible Management Education gathered business school leaders, faculty, students, businesses and sustainable development organizations for a Responsible Management Education Week, on 12 - 16 June 2023, in New York (USA), to advance responsible management education and its impact worldwide. The 11th Edition of PRME Global Forum was part of this week, taking place on 13 – 14 June, hosted by Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business.

The Associate Dean for Engagement and Impact, Ana Simaens, actively participated as an Expert Pedagogy group member representing PRME Chapter Iberia on the launch of the playbook created under the project "The Impactful Five (i5): Learning in Leadership Education". Here you can find the Playbook.
Ana Simaens also attended the meeting of PRME Chapters from all over the world. Eleven Chapters out of 17 met in New York. Chapter Iberia was represented by Nova SBE, Chair of the Chapter, and by Ana Simaens, as Head of Programmatic Work.
Iscte Business School was also represented at the PRME Champions meeting, by Associate Deans Ana Simaens (in-person) and Renato Pereira (online). The meeting reunited PRME Champion Schools from all over the world to discuss the present and future of the program and how these schools can continue fostering sustainable development together.
The event culminated in the UN Headquarters where Ms. Amina J. Mohammed, the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations and Chair of the United Nations Sustainable Development Group, commended attendees for their efforts and work on transforming the business education landscape.
The event brought together more than 300 people in person and 800 online. In addition to taking stock of PRME’s growth over the last year and highlighting the ongoing work of the PRME community, the 2023 Global Forum focused on impact across various session themes: pedagogy, climate, digital, and leadership. The 2023 Edition was the first in-person forum since 2017.
