Iscte Business School (IBS) is organizing the 21st edition of the Career Forum job fair on February 7th and 8th, with the participation of major recruiting companies in Portugal. This year's program includes 27 company presentations and 4 speed interview sessions aimed at preparing students for the most demanding recruitment processes.
"This is one of the most important events for the School, reflecting the strong connection between the academic community and the business sector since the creation of the Iscte Management School," says Maria João Cortinhal, Director of Iscte Business School. "It is also a unique opportunity for faculty and students to establish a more personalized connection with employers."
Iscte Business School boasts an employability rate of 98% for recent graduates one year after completing their Bachelor's degree and 99% one year after completing their Master's degree. The Career Forum is designed to enhance the employability of graduates by introducing them to various companies, recruitment processes in different business areas, and connecting students with the business sector.
The Iscte Business School Career Forum is a leading recruitment event in Portugal, bringing together top decision-makers in human resources from various sectors of the economy. The first day focuses on banking, insurance, auditing, and consulting, while the second day emphasizes retail, services, and technology. The event includes presentations by companies on their recruitment and selection processes, speed interviews conducted by participating companies, and Business Breakfasts that bring recruiters and top students together.
The IBS Career Forum 2024 follows the school's increased national and international visibility in 2023, having entered the Top 50 of the best European management schools according to the Financial Times ranking. The school recently rejoined the group of PRME Champions, a sustainability program affiliated with the United Nations.
