Daniel Quental, a former Management undergraduate at Iscte Business School, has recently graduated from Harvard Business School with one of the institution’s highest academic honors: Baker Scholar, awarded to the top 5% of students each year.

Born in the small town of Sátão and the first in his family to attend university, Daniel began his academic journey at Iscte in Lisbon. His ambition, dedication, and determination led him from our classrooms to one of the most competitive and prestigious business schools in the world.

In an interview with Portuguese newspaper Expresso, Daniel shared how his motivation was rooted in a personal mission — to honor his grandfather, who believed education was the path to success. He also highlighted the support he received through scholarships and the commitment from Harvard to ensure academic merit is not limited by financial background.

Now, with his MBA completed, Daniel is set to begin a new professional journey at the Boston Consulting Group in New York City.
