Iscte Business School took part in the PRME Global Forum 2025, held on June 9 and 10 at the Cornell Tech campus in New York City (USA), organized by the Cornell SC Johnson School of Business. The event was part of the Responsible Management Education (RME) Week, which ran from June 9 to 13, 2025, bringing together academic and institutional leaders from around the world committed to promoting global responsibility in management education.
The program featured dynamic debates, collaborative sessions, and inspiring talks, offering a platform for reflection on how to apply the PRME Principles as tools to accelerate the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). At the same time, it strengthened international networks and fostered a spirit of global citizenship.
Iscte Business School was represented in person by its Dean, Professor Maria João Cortinhal, who actively participated in the Forum and joined the PRME Champions Schools meeting, of which the school has been a member since 2023. This meeting, held on June 8, focused on collective work around the Champions Manifesto and the development of sustainability-oriented curricula.

On June 9, the school was also represented remotely by the Associate Dean for Engagement and Impact, Professor Ana Simaens, who took part in the session “Champions for Climate Leadership (C4CL): Feedback and Feedforward towards Future Knowledge Mobilisation”, a project in which Iscte Business School participates within the scope of PRME Champions.
Under the theme “Community and Commitment to Advance Global Responsibility”, the 2025 edition of the PRME Global Forum stood out as a space for collective action and commitment to advancing global responsibility through management and business education.
The RME Week also included collaboration between PRME, the Responsible Research in Business and Management (RRBM) Network, and the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), in a joint initiative aimed at transforming management education and research, while creating a community of practice based on cooperation and shared learning.
