Maria de Fátima Salgueiro took office as the new Director of Iscte Business School, succeeding Professor Maria João Cortinhal, who had held the position since 2019.
The inauguration ceremony took place on 7 November 2025, at the end of the morning, and was attended by the Rector, Professor Maria de Lurdes Rodrigues, the new members of the School's Management, several lecturers and members of the academic community, as well as employees of the School of Management's UATA.

Maria de Fátima Salgueiro holds a PhD from the University of Southampton, United Kingdom, and is a Full Professor at Iscte (Department of Quantitative Methods). She is a researcher at BRU – Business Research Unit, a research unit of which she was Director between 2017 and 2025.
