Iscte Business School strengthens its position in the 2026 edition of the Positive Impact Rating
PIR2026

Iscte Business School has once again been recognised in the 2026 Positive Impact Rating (PIR), retaining the Level 4 status it had previously achieved as a “Transforming School” – a classification that recognises business schools which demonstrate a culture, governance and systems geared towards creating a positive impact on society and promoting sustainability.

The school is among the 58 international institutions ranked at Level 4, out of a total of 87 business schools from 32 countries that were ranked in this seventh edition of the PIR.

Created by students for students, the Positive Impact Rating assesses how business schools respond to social and environmental challenges and prepares their students to become responsible leaders - a special thank you to Iscte Junior Consulting, which organised and led this project. In 2026, the initiative set a new participation record, with over 20,000 responses from students at 90 schools, of which 19,789 were deemed valid for ranking purposes.

Highlights of Iscte Business School’s recognition:

  • International recognition in the Positive Impact Rating 2026, one of the leading benchmarks for assessing the impact of business schools.
  • Participation in an initiative bringing together 87 schools from 32 countries, reflecting the PIR’s growing global relevance.
  • Inclusion in the group of business schools that stand out for incorporating sustainability, social responsibility and positive impact into their strategy and activities.
