Exchange Students (partner universities)
To apply as an exchange student, please contact the International Relations Office at your home university.
The process will then follow the following steps:
Step 1 – Nomination by Home University
Deadline: 1st of June (fall semester and full-year) or 1st of November (spring semester)
During this stage, nominations of future incoming exchange students are sent directly by the home universities. Only after this stage, students are allowed to proceed with their registration.
Step 2 – Registration in the internal system (Fenix+)
During this stage, Iscte’s International Relations Office will provide the nominated students with credentials to access the internal integrated system (Fenix+) in order to fill in personal data, upload the required documents and complete the registration.
Step 3 – Enrollment in courses in Fenix+
After the personal information is complete in the system, students receive information about how to enroll in courses and the deadlines to do so. It is highly recommended to proceed with enrolment in classes shortly after the enrollment period is open since the courses have limited number of vacancies.
All students should follow the course selection rules, as any incorrectness will delay the validation of the enrollment.
Step 4 – Adjustments to the initial selection of courses (if applicable)
During this stage any incorrectness or outstanding situations regarding the selection of courses is revised by Iscte Business School. Students will be requested to proceed with adjustments (if applicable) within the given deadline, taking into account the availability of vacancies.
Step 5 – Validation of enrollments
During this stage enrollments are validated by Iscte Business School. Afterwards no further changes to the study plan will be allowed. There is no add/drop period.
