Management Board
Ana Cristina Mendes da Conceição is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting at the ISCTE Business School. She holds a PhD in Accounting from the ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon and is an associate researcher at the Business Research Unit (BRU-Iscte). She teaches courses in Accounting and Management Control, and coordinates the 3rd year of the Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting.
A former officer of the Portuguese Navy until 2021, she held leadership positions in administrative, financial, and auditing areas.
Her research focuses on the analysis of management control change and public sector accounting practices, with particular emphasis on the implementation of costing systems. She has published in leading international journals such as Accounting, Auditing & Accountability Journal, Financial Accountability & Management, and Public Money & Management. She is also a member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee (DEIC) of the European Accounting Association (EAA).
João Guerreiro is an Associate Professor with Habilitation in the Department of Marketing, Operations and General Management at Iscte Business School. He holds a PhD in Marketing from Iscte, where he teaches and coordinates several Marketing courses, focused on analytical models and the impact of technology on Marketing. He is currently also Vice-President of Iscte’s Scientific Council and a board member of LIA (Laboratory for Innovation in Academia).
His current research focuses on the impact of artificial intelligence on the future of management, and he has published in several scientific journals such as the Journal of Business Research, Journal of Travel Research, Psychology & Marketing, Tourism Management, and the Journal of Business Ethics, among others.

Sandra Costa is an Assistant Professor and Researcher at ISCTE Business School. She holds a PhD in Management from Nova SBE. She teaches a variety of courses in HRM, OB, Organizational and Occupational Psychology, and Quantitative Research Methods at different universities: University of Liverpool (UK), Nova SBE (PT), Universidade Europeia (PT) and IPAM (PT). She currently coordinates the Human Resources and Organizational Behavior specialisation of the PhD in Management.
