On September 23rd and 24th, 2024, the ISCTE Business School took part in the second in-person PRME Champions Meeting for the 2024-2025 cycle, hosted by the Berlin School of Business & Innovation (BSBI) in Berlin, Germany. The meeting brought together global representatives of the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) to exchange knowledge and foster collaboration, with participants attending both in-person and virtually.
Held alongside the 11th RMER Conference, the event focused on strengthening the impact of PRME projects and forging new partnerships. Key discussions revolved around best practices for integrating the PRME Principles and promoting responsible management education, while also exploring the role of PRME Champions in advancing these initiatives.
Participants benefited from enriched networking opportunities, collaborative sessions, and a thought-provoking visit to the Futurium in Berlin, which sparked important reflections on the future of education.
Ana Simaens, Associate Dean for Engagement and Impact at ISCTE Business School, represented the institution and co-facilitated an "Impactful Five" (i5) workshop for conference attendees. The i5 Project seeks to encourage creative approaches to complex topics in education, and PRME has been promoting its innovative work to PRME Champions and other educational leaders.
