In Partnership with University of São Paulo

July 2 - 3, 2026 – Online/Hybrid

We are pleased to announce the IV Iscte Doctoral Consortium in Accounting Research, which will be held on July 2 - 3, 2026, in HYBRID FORMAT, which will be jointly held by the Accounting Department of Iscte Business School (PT) and and of the University of São Paulo (BR).

This Doctoral Colloquium aims to help PhD students from any University to improve the quality of their theses and the impact of their research, both at the national and international levels. It will also contribute to the integration of PhD students with their colleagues from European and Brazilian Universities, as well as with international researchers.

The language of the event is English.

Submission and participation in the Doctoral Colloquium are free of charge.

Format and Activities
The doctoral colloquium will feature lectures delivered by internationally recognized researchers on key issues in contemporary accounting research. In collaboration with faculty members from Iscte and USP, these guest scholars will actively review and discuss the research proposals submitted by participating doctoral students through structured, in-depth sessions. These discussions are designed to provide rigorous academic feedback, offer methodological and theoretical guidance, and foster the intellectual development of each project.

Research proposals employing either quantitative or qualitative methodological approaches are welcome.
