ILÍDIO TOMÁS LOPES He was born on January 18, 1966, in the municipality of Abrantes. He is currently a professor at “Iscte Instituto Universitário de Lisboa” and an associate member of the “Bru_iscte Business Research Unit” at the same institution. He is also a lecturer on the Executive Master's Degree in Business Management at Iscte_Executive Education. Lecturer on the postgraduate course in Economics and Regulation of Financial Institutions at IPPS_ISCTE. He is curently appointed for member of the Board of Directors (Supervisory Board) of an Asian Fintech company (currently in the process of legalization in Europe); Currently: Director of “Audax_iscte”; Member of the Supervisory Board of Novartis Farma - Produtos Farmacêuticos, SA. Chairman of the Supervisory Board of “Associação Iscte Conhecimento e Inovação” and Member of the Supervisory Board of OROC - Ordem dos Revisores Oficiais de Contas. He is also an advisor to the Opinion Council of RTP - Rádio e Televisão de Portugal, SA, on economic and financial matters. He was a Non-Executive Director, Member of the Audit Committee and Member of the Corporate Governance Committee of Banco BIC Português, S.A. (EuroBic). He holds a PhD in Business Management, specializing in Accounting (University of Coimbra, 2009), a Master's degree in Statistics and Information Management (ISEGI, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, 2001) and a degree in Business Organization and Management (ISEG, University of Lisbon, 1990). A lecturer in higher education since 1994, he was a lecturer at the School of Management and Technology of the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém (1997 to 2013), and in recent years has held the position of director of that institution. He was also a collaborative lecturer at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Coimbra (2006 to 2011). He is currently responsible for several curricular units, including: Auditing; Financial Auditing; Financial Performance Assessment; Financial Accounting II; Banking Accounting. He has also held management positions in several multinational companies. Author of several scientific publications, member of various national and international scientific committees and reviewer of articles for scientific journals in the areas of Management and Accounting. Alexandra Ferreira-Lopes is an Associate Professor at ISCTE, Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE - IUL), at the ISCTE Business School (IBS) and she is affiliated with the Business Research Unit (BRU-IUL) of ISCTE - IUL. She earned her PhD in Economics from the Lisbon School of Economics and Management of the University of Lisbon (ISEG - UL, Lisbon, Portugal). She is the author of articles about Open Macroeconomics, Business Cycles, Endogenous Growth Theory, and Empirical Economics, published in international peer-reviewed journals such as Ecological Economics, Economic Modelling, Open Economies Review, Oxford Economic Papers, Public Finance Review, Regional Studies, and Tourism Management. She was the sub-director of BRU-IUL between February 2014 and August 2016 and the director of the Msc. in Economics between July 2019 and June 2021.

Álvaro Rosa is a professor of Management. His areas of research and study are Strategy, Governance and Cross-Cultural Management. In addition, he is also a researcher and teacher of Chinese Studies, namely Contemporary China. Currently, he is the Director of Master Degree in Chinese Studies, a joint program of University of Aveiro and ISCTE - IUL. Professionally, he is a coach and trainer in negotiation techniques.

Álvaro Dias is an Associate Professor with Habilitation at ISCTE-IUL, bringing a wealth of experience in Tourism, Marketing, and Entrepreneurship to his teaching, which commenced in 1995. Beyond his academic instruction, he has provided expert consultancy to a broad spectrum of organizations, encompassing government bodies such as IAPMEI, GNR, IAPMEI and ACT, and numerous private enterprises. Academically, Professor Dias holds two PhDs awarded with honors (cum laude), specializing in Management (Marketing) and Tourism. His educational background also includes a Master's in Strategy, an MBA, a Bachelor's in Management, and postgraduate studies in E-business. His administrative and leadership roles within academia are notable. He formerly led the Economic and Business Sciences department at UAL, where he was responsible for coordinating various degree programs, from Bachelor's to PhD. He also directed Master's and Bachelor's programs in Marketing and co-directed a Bachelor's in Management. Currently, he coordinates the Master in Hospitality and Tourism at ISCTE-IUL and established the Living Lab for Tourism and Services, which he continues to coordinate. His contributions to research infrastructures include founding two research centers and coordinating three. Professor Dias is a prolific author, with 28 published books and more than 240 articles indexed in Scopus. His significant contributions have been recognized through prestigious accolades, including the GNR D. Nuno Álvares Pereira Medal of Merit and a diploma of Commendation in 2022. He was also honored with research awards from the Chair of Intelligent Tourism of the Junta de Andalucía and the University of Seville in 2021 and 2023. Dedicated to fostering academic talent, Álvaro Dias has successfully supervised two post-doctoral researchers, 16 PhD candidates, and 280 master's students. His international reach in teaching and research includes engagements in Angola, Brazil, Bolivia, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Spain, Poland, Romania, and Finland.

Ana Catarina Nunes is an Assistant Professor at ISCTE-IUL. She has a PhD in Mathematics Applied to Economics and Management, a MSc in Operations Research, and graduated in Statistics and Operations Research. She teaches quantitative methods, namely Operations Research and Optimization. She has presented communications in several conferences, and has published in scientific journals such as the European Journal of Operational Research. Her research topics are operations research (combinatorial optimization), mainly on mathematical models and heuristics for the designs of routes and sectors for real applications in delivery and collection systems. In this context, she has been a researcher in projects supported by national funding from FCT (Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia) focused on the efficient resource management in environmental services related to household refuse collection.

Ana Conceição (publication name, Conceição, A.) is an Assistant Professor of Management Accounting and Control at ISCTE-IUL (Lisbon, Portugal). She holds a PhD from ISCTE-IUL. Prior to joining ISCTE-IUL she was Professor at Escola Naval where she taught Accounting, Auditing and Financial Management.

Ana Isabel Lopes, Ph.D., is a full time Associate Professor (with habilitation) of the Accounting Department at Lisbon University Institute (ISCTE-IUL) and integrated member of the researcher center BRU/UNIDE, in Lisbon (Portugal). She has experience in teaching in doctoral and master programs, executive education, and undergraduate programs, engaging in courses related with financial accounting and business reporting, management control in multinationals, and consolidated financial statements. Currently, she is Director of the MSc program in Accounting and she is the Executive Director of the post-graduation in Finance and Accounting Applied. She has an extensive experience in coordinating programs in high education institutions. She also supervises doctoral and master students' dissertations. She is active in presenting conference papers in national and international congresses (by submission or invitation). Her research interests cover international financial accounting and reporting, integrated and sustainability reporting, business combinations, and corporate governance. Ana Isabel has published in leading academic journals such as 'Australian Journal of Management', 'European Business Review', 'Accounting Education', 'Spanish Journal of Finance and Accounting', 'Journal of Economics and Business', and 'Meditari Accountancy Research'.

Her main research interests are well-being, daily micro-events at work, mindfulness, positive organizational behaviour and the intersection of pets with organizational life. She has published more than 40 papers in International Journals such as Personality and Individual Differences, Journal of Happiness Studies, Social Indicators Research, European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology or International Journal of Migration, Health and Social Care. Andrea Fontes is an invited teacher, a psychologist, a coach and a consultant in Human Resources. She holds two degrees, respectively in the areas of Organization and Business management and Psychology, a Master in Psychology, Counseling and Psychotherapy and a Phd in Organizational Psychology in ISCTE. She has  20 years experience in multinational companies practice field, in several areas, from Marketing&Sales to Consumer Research and Human Resources. Publications in scientific journals and book chapters have been mainly within the coaching topic. Her researches were also presented in several national and international conferences. Research interests revolve around HR practices for development and positive interventions at the workplace.

Carlos Hernandez Jerónimo is passionate about the development and evolution of professional management in organizations, challenging and helping several clients on a daily basis to reinvent their business models and find elegant solutions to complex problems with a focus on measuring value and predictability. He has a degree in Computer Science and Telematics from Univ. de Aveiro and a PhD in Business Administration and Management from ISCTE, founding partner of Winning Scientific Management, has divided his career between management consulting and academia. As a specialist consultant he is responsible for the implementation, customization and design of methodologies and application systems to support Strategic Management, Benefits, Portfolios, PMO's, Programs and Projects, aligned with the most important and recognized international frameworks, in several clients in the area of banking and insurance, transportation and logistics, retail, health, construction, telecommunications and information systems. Currently assumes the responsibility for technical innovation, development and quality assurance of the services provided in the Health and Public Administration sector.  Executive Director of the Executive Master in Program and Project Management of ISCTE Executive Education, Guest Assistant Professor at ISCTE-IUL and expert trainer, holds the Certificate of Pedagogical Aptitude (CAP), proven experience through more than 10,000h of teaching, counting in his curriculum with the design and development of several hundred reference courses in Strategy, Business Cases, Business Analysis, Project Management and Cost Management and preparing several hundred candidates for PMI® certifications. Filipa Rosado Pinto is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of the Department of Marketing, Operations and General Management at Iscte- Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. Presently, she is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NOVA SBE. Filipa obtained her PhD in Management (Marketing specialization) at Iscte, in 2022. She also holds an MBA from IE Business School and a bachelor’s degree in management from NOVA SBE. Following ten years of experience in marketing, in multinational companies, from Fast Moving Consumer Goods and the Pharmaceutical Industry, she moved into Academia in 2016.  Filipa´s current research interests include -among others- consumer-brand relationships, brand management and services marketing. Her research has been published in international scientific journals, such as EuroMed Journal of Business, Journal of Promotion Management and International Journal of Hospitality Management. Florinda Matos is PhD in Social Sciences, Organisational Behaviour Studies, by the University of Lisbon. She has a master’s degree in Business Sciences from INDEG/ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon, a Bachelor’s Degree in Management of Agricultural Business, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomic Engineering, both by the Polytechnic Institute of Santarém. She is a Professor at ISCTE Business School – University Institute of Lisbon, where she teaches several courses in the areas of management and she is an invited Professor at several international universities. As DINÂMIA'CET – IUL, Centre for the Study of Socioeconomic Change and the Territory integrated researcher, her main research interests are Knowledge Management, Intellectual Capital Management, Measuring of Intangibles, Sustainability, Innovation, Additive Manufacturing and Digital Transformation. She was a post-Doc researcher in the Social Impacts of Additive Manufacturing at NOVA.id.FCT and she led the project KM3D - Knowledge Management in Additive Manufacturing: Designing New Business Models, in a national consortium, funded by FCT - Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia. She has worked for global Asset Management Banks and in the Marketing Department for a Global Pharmaceutical Company. She lectures Marketing at ISCTE-IUL and Tourism Marketing at Universidade Católica Portuguesa . Her main research is in the area of Medical Tourism, Wellness and Health Tourism, Service Quality, Social Media and Higher Education.

Inês C. Sousa is a researcher at CIES-Iscte and an Invited Assistant Professor at Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, where she teaches courses on Work and Organizational Psychology, Safety and Health at Work, and Organizational Behavior. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and completed her Master's degree in Social and Organizational Psychology. In 2020, she earned her Ph.D. in Management with a specialization in Human Resources and Organizational Behavior from Iscte. Her doctoral thesis is entitled “Leveraging an aging workforce: Contributions to longer and better working lives”. Inês's research interests span aging at work, diversity and inclusion in the workplace, retirement, science communication, and public involvement in science. She has published her work in reputable journals such as Current Psychology, Work, Aging and Retirement, Journal of Managerial Psychology, and Frontiers in Psychology.

Jonas Oliveira holds a PhD in Accounting from the School of Economics and Management, University of Minho, Portugal. He is an Associate Professor of Accounting at ISCTE-IUL Business School, Lisbon. He has previously worked at the University of Aveiro as Adjunct Professor of Accounting. His research interests are corporate risk reporting, enterprise risk management, corporate governance mechanisms, impression management strategies used in corporate reporting, sustainability and integrated reporting. He publishes academic articles regularly in some internationally well-recognized journals such as the Managerial Auditing Journal, Meditari Accountancy Research, Australian Accounting Review, Corporate Communications: an International Journal, European Business Review, and Journal of Risk.

J. Rocha is a theoretical physicist with broad interests spanning gravitation, high-energy physics and mathematical physics. His research focuses on the study of black holes and other solutions of General Relativity, and extensions thereof. He obtained a PhD degree in Physics from University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) in 2008, under the supervision of Prof. Joseph Polchinski. He earned his pre-Bologna bachelor degree in Technological Physics Engineering, in 2002, from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), University of Lisbon. He is currently an Assistant Professor of the Department of Mathematics at ISCTE-IUL. Between 2015 and 2019 he worked as a research post-doc fellow at Universitat de Barcelona.   In total, J. Rocha has published 30+ original articles in top international peer-reviewed journals. He has vast experience in oral presentations (20+ invited seminars at various institutes in the USA, UK, Belgium, Japan, Brazil, Spain and Portugal; 30+ oral communications at international conferences). He regularly engages in outreach activities.   J. Rocha organized 6 scientific meetings, among which four were international conferences/workshops. He supervised 1 Master thesis, and co-supervised one PhD student and another Master student. He was a member of the examination committee of 2 PhD students and 4 Master students. He is the recipient of 5 prizes and awards, including a Marie Sklodowska-Curie individual fellowship. He is a member of Sociedade Portuguesa de Relatividade e Gravitação.

Leandro F. Pereira is an Associate Professor of Strategy at ISCTE. He is also CEO and Founder of WINNING Consulting, a consultancy firm with more than 300 employees dedicated to management and technology consultancy. Leandro Pereira has a PhD in Management with a specialisation in Project Management from the University of Salamanca and a degree in Management Informatics from the University of Minho. He has more than 200 indexed scientific publications and more than 10 published books. In 2017, Leandro Pereira received the Best CEO of the Year award from Best Team Leaders and Revista Pessoal, as well as the best student award from the University of Minho in the academic field. Leandro Pereira is the Director of the Executive Master's Degree in Programme and Project Management and the Postgraduate Diploma in Agile Project and Business Management at ISCTE Executive Education. Throughout his career he has supervised dozens of PhD students and several hundred Masters students. He was also founding president of PMI Portugal and the Business Case Institute. As an Invited Assistant at ISCTE Business School within the Bachelor's program in Human Resource Management and a Research Assistant at BRU-IUL, Luís Miguel Simões is currently pursuing a PhD in Management at ISCTE, specializing in human resources and organizational behavior. The professional journey began in international recruitment and selection, followed by a transition into a role related to Human Resources Technician within a medical devices company. In this position, responsibilities included new member training and development, training the entire EMEA team on new software, administrative support, purchase orders, HR analytics, and internal project coordination and leadership.   Additionally, contributions have been made as a consultant to international projects focused on social and educational training programs and program development.   A position is also held as Human Resources and Marketing Director at a Portuguese film festival.   As a researcher, focus lies in projects pertaining to leadership and its impact on employee attitudes and behaviors.

Microeconomics
Catarina Roseta-Palma is Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at ISCTE-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa. She was Iscte's Director of Sustainability from 2018 to 2022. Her main research interests are in natural resource management, especially water, and in environmental policy. She worked as a consultant with Regional Water Boards (ARH Alentejo and Algarve) and INAG (Portuguese Water Authority), as well as the Portuguese Environment Ministry and the European Commission. She was in the Portuguese Commission for Green Fiscal Reform (2014). She is a member of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists, in whose conferences she regularly participates, and where she was elected EAERE Council Member for the period 2010-2013 (vice-president for 2012-2013). Maria da Conceição Torres Figueiredo (1966) is Associate Professor of Quantitative Methods at ISCTE-IUL, Portugal, since 1997. She studied economics and econometrics at ISEG-UTL, Portugal (Licenciatura in Economics, 1991; M.S. in Mathematical Modeling for Economics and Management, 1994) and Quantitative Methods at the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL), (Ph.D. in Quantitative Methods, 2011). Her research focus on Longitudinal Data Analysis and Applied Microeconometrics.  Participated in projects, studies, workshops and communications in national and international congresses. of journals where she published: The Portuguese Journal of Social Science; Social Policy and Society; International Labour Review and Jounal of Youth Studies.

I joined ISCTE in 1996 after obtaining a first degree in Business Administration. I also hold a master´s degree in Business Administration from ISCTE and a Ph.D in Organisational Psychology from Manchester Business School, England, where I was a mentor of related student-sponsor projects on the Full-Time MBA. Since 1996 I have taught statistics and data analysis using statistical software at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I have also supervised master and doctoral thesis in the fields of organizational psychology and management science. Prior to beginning my academic career, I worked for consultancy and insurance organisations in Portugal. My primary research interest encompasses cross-cultural studies, gender and diversity in organizations, and organizational behaviour. My main research focus in these areas relates to issues concerning global mobility and expatriation, migrants' skills recognition and integration into the labour market, women in management, and team performance management. A second strand of my research is concerned with (big) data analytics and text analysis using R. I have published in the area of Organisation Studies, most recently in the International Journal of Human Resource Management, International Journal of Public Administration, and International Journal of Conflict Management.

Maria João Velez  is Assistant Professor at the Department of Human Resources and Organizational Behavior. Her research interests include ethical leadership, destructive leadership, followership, emotions in the workplace, occupational stress, coping strategies, having some of her work published in international journals such as Journal of Occupational Health Psychology, European Review of Applied Psychology or The Leadership Quarterly. Pedro Quartin Graça has a large number of books and academic publications in Portuguese, German and Chinese concerning advertising law, law of the sea, european law and consumer law. Renato Lopes da Costa is however recognized for his work in academic terms, having published more than a hundred scientific articles in the main international business management journals index by scopus and Wos and, 9 books in the same scientific area.  Throughout his career for several years he developed his business activity in the areas of retail and banking, developing projects of an operational nature in the areas of banking and management control in the retail area. Renato Lopes da Costa completed his doctorate in the area of ​​business strategy at ISCTE - University of Lisbon, where he developed a pioneering work on the practices and praxis used by management consultants in the development of their work in client companies, contributing to the state of the art in scientific area of ​​business strategy in the field of strategy-as-practice research. Renato Lopes da Costa also has the title of Habilitation in Management conferred by the University Institute of Lisbon, completed in 2022. As a university professor, he supervised more than two hundred of masters and doctorates in the area of ​​business management, being recognized for this valence, as well as for his teaching ability in the area of ​​business strategy in undergraduate, master's, executive master's and doctorate degrees, nationally and internationally. Having conducted several courses at Portugal universities, he is currently director of the MscBA - Master in Business Administration at ISCTE (being listed on the prestigious lists of the Financial Times as one of the best European courses in the scientific area of ​​management) and Diretor of the Global Master Series INDEG in Business Management, Marketing e Finance e Risk Management. Ricardo Godinho Bilro is an Assistant Professor (with habilitation) of Marketing at ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, where he teaches Marketing at undergraduate and Master’s degree levels. He earned his PhD in Management with a specialization in Marketing from ISCTE Business School. He currently holds the roles of Department Deputy Chair (Department of Marketing, Strategy and Operations) and Director for the Erasmus Mundus joint Master’s degree program in Tourism Development & Culture (TourDC). He is a guest lecturer at the University of Glasgow (UK) and the University of Malta for the TOUR DC program and has served as a Visiting Professor at different institutions, such as EM Strasbourg Business School (Strasbourg, France), TH Köln (Cologne, Germany), Laurea University of Applied Sciences (Helsinki, Finland) and Université Gustave Eiffel (Paris, France). As a researcher at ISCTE’s Business Research Unit, Ricardo’s research interests include Digital Transformation, Technology Adoption, and Social Media Marketing. Shaozhuang Ma is a tenured Associate Professor with a Habilitation in Management at the Business School of Iscte-University Institute of Lisbon (Iscte-IUL), Portugal. He holds an MBA from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom, and a Ph.D. in Management from Iscte-Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, Portugal. Additionally, he was a visiting scholar at the Business School of the University of Queensland, Australia in the year 2010.   Professor Ma's teaching and research interests encompass Human Resource Development and Management, as well as Strategic Management, with a recent focus on Employee Well-being and Health in the context of a boundaryless workplace. He has contributed to various esteemed publications, including the International Journal of Human Resource Management, Applied Psychology: Health and Well-being, Psychology and Health, Psychology, Health and Medicine, The Chinese Economy, Journal of Health Organization and Management, International Journal of Public Administration, Population & Economics, Journal of Nursing Science, Chinese Hospitals, and Chinese Health Quality Management, among others.   Furthermore, Professor Ma serves as a Deputy Editor of the International Journal of Health Planning and Management and has provided extensive referee services for international journals. Notably, his cases titled "Zhu Dandan (A): Promotions (9B13C002)" and "Zhu Dandan (B): Leadership Development (9B20C025)" were published by Ivey and featured in Harvard Business Review's collection.   Prior to his tenure at Iscte-IUL, Professor Ma held the position of Deputy Dean at the Business School of Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in Guangzhou, China. I got a PhD in Economics from the University of Alicante in 2006. I am doing research in the area of financial economics and have also taught in this area. Before ISCTE, I worked at the Catholic University of Portugal, and did three internships at the European Central Bank. I was also a visiting scholar at the Sloan School of Management of MIT.
Integrated Operations Management
Dr. Ulpan Tokkozhina is an Invited Assistant Professor at ISCTE-IUL with specialization in Operations Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management. She holds a PhD in Management degree with thesis in blockchain technology implementation for supply chain management improvement. Ulpan teaches courses on Operations Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management for both Bachelor and Master degree students. She has co-authored several academic articles and book chapters about the impact of novel technologies on supply chain performance, also won Best Paper Award at EAI INTSYS 2022 International Conference. Ulpan was invited as a guest speaker at an international level - including Mexican University Tecnológico de Monterrey, Molde University of Logistics in Norway and Fundação Getulio Vargas in Brazil. Her current main research interest is novel technologies implementation and use in supply chain context. Currently, Ulpan is involved in a research project "Fish2Fork" curated by EEA Grants and Inov Inesc Inovação, which is aimed on finding novel technological solutions for transparent and sustainable fishing and fish products consumption.

Vânia Patrício has a PhD in Business Administration and Management from ISCTE. She is founding partner at Winning Scientific Management. She is an invited professor at ISCTE Business School and also at ISCTE Executive Education in the Management Control and Performance Program and Project Management & Programs. She has a degree in Corporate Communication from Escola Superior de Comunicação Social de Lisboa. Later she did a post-graduation in Marketing and Commercial Management of Financial Services at Instituto Superior de Gestão Bancária de Lisboa and a post-graduation in Project Management by the Instituto Superior Bissaya Barreto de Coimbra. She also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification from PMI® and a Certified ROI Professional certification from ROI Institute. She is an International Coaching Certified approved by the ICF and Practitioner in PNL. She has several indexed scientific publications, having published in leading journals such as International Journal of Business Innovation and Research, Journal of Open Innovation and International Journal of Agile Systems and Management. Vânia Patrício has oriented and advised several Master's students. She is a specialist in project management, change management, high performance teams, leadership, emotional intelligence, cognitive flexibility and dynamic capabilities. Throughout her professional experience she has been responsible for business development and the supervision and coordination of several commercial, business analysis and project management teams, ensuring performance, delivery and quality of execution, as well as customer relationship and satisfaction in service delivery. He has managed a team of several trainers and consultants, and has been responsible for the design, development and execution of courses and projects in technical and behavioral areas, proving his experience through more than 10,000 hours of teaching. Vivaldo Mendes has been a Professor of Economics at the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (ISCTE-IUL) since 1998. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Sussex and a degree in Economics from the Instituto Superior de Economia e Gestão of the University of Lisbon. He has held several university management positions in the last two decades always at ISCTE-IUL, from Vice-Rector between 2005 and 2009, President of the General Assembly between 2002 and 2005, Director of the Department of Economics between 2010 and 2014, elected member of the General Assembly between 2000 and 2002, member of the Scientific Council between 2010 and 2014, and Director of the Master in Economics between 2010 and 2013. He was also a member of two specialized committees of the Council of Rectors of Portuguese Universities (CRUP) representing ISCTE-IUL between 2005 and 2009,  and a guest lecturer at the Higher Institute of Military Studies (IESM) between 2010 and 2016. Vivaldo Mendes has taught various subjects over the years, ranging from macroeconomics, introduction to computation for economics and finance, monetary and financial economics, to international economics, microeconomics, and game theory. He has published in macroeconomics, optimal monetary policy, and complex dynamical systems.
